White House considering ‘vetting Donald Trump’s tweets’

The White House is considering asking lawyers to vet Donald Trump’s tweets, according to reports.

According to the  Wall Street Journal a legal team could be brought in to suggest whether the tweets should be toned down or blocked.

During the campaign Mr Trump used Twitter as his main means of communicating with voters. It proved to be hugely effective and far cheaper than the expensive advertising campaigns used by his opponents.

Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an “angel” without checking her past, which is terrible!

But at the same time, their intemperate tone frequently provoked controversy.   From attacks on political rivals to an early morning tirade Alicia Machado, Mr Trump’s tweets were hardly a model of restraint.

It had been hoped that President Trump would show more caution than candidate Trump. But this proved not to be the case.

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

Without evidence, he accused his predecessor, Barack Obama, of bugging Trump Tower.

He also hinted that his conversations with James Comey, the ousted FBI director, could have been taped.

The White House denied the Wall Street Journal Report and there was some scepticism whether, given the hour and frequency of Mr Trump’s tweets, whether it would be practical to impose a curb.

Washington insiders also voiced doubts that the president would even agree to allow his tweets to be vetted.
